It was founded in 2023 following an agreement between Arçelik and Whirlpool, with Arçelik owning 75% of the company and Whirlpool owning 25%. It benefits from over 60 years of leadership, innovation, and expertise in the household appliances industry.

With over 20,000 employees, Beko Europe has 69 subsidiaries and 11 manufacturing sites across Europe, located in Cassinetta, Melano, Comunanza, and Siena in Italy; Wroclaw, Radomsko, and Lodz in Poland; Poprad in Slovakia; Yate in the United Kingdom; and Ulmi and Gaesti in Romania, with a production capacity of approximately 24 million appliances per year.

CHEMOSVIT FOLIE, s.r.o., is the largest company of the CHEMOSVIT GROUP and focuses on the production, converting and sale of packaging films. Company started in 1938 as Cellophane production – the first company in Europe and second in the world (terminated in 1997). Nowadays it is among the biggest players in flexible packaging films converting in Central Europe. In 2017 its turnover reached over € 95 mil. The constant interest of the company’s management is to maintain a leading position among manufacturers of packaging materials.

A brand that need not be particularly presented. Kia is part of the automotive concern Hyundai Motor Group. Together with the brands Toyota, Volkswagen, Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi and General Motors belongs to the club of the largest automotive producers in the world. Near Žilina the cars have been produced since 2006. During our excursion we will visit the welding and assembly shops. We will also speak about interesting facts in the production system of the automotive industry.

Ecco Slovakia, a.s. is one of the leading companies in the field of footwear production not only in Europe. In Martin, they first started sewing shoe uppers and at the same time building a hall in Kosuty, which was put into use in 1999. Later, other buildings were added, including distribution warehouses, an administration building and a company shop. The most successful year in the company's history so far was 2012, when Martin's production had to compensate for the loss of footwear production in Thailand, which was affected by floods. In that record year Ecco produced 4.5 million pairs of shoes in Martin.
